This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains how ROCX handles consumer health data where applicable U.S. consumer health privacy laws apply.
1. Categories of Consumer Health Data
Depending on the features you choose to use, ROCX may process the following categories of consumer health data:
- Workout, exercise, routine, set, repetition, weight, duration, distance, rest, and training history data
- Body metrics and progress information, such as weight, body fat percentage, measurements, photos, and progress notes
- HealthKit data you permit ROCX to read or write, such as weight, body fat percentage, sleep, heart rate, HRV, and workouts
- Voice, transcript, image, screenshot, and text inputs that may include exercise, body, health, or fitness information
- App interactions, feature usage, purchase status, device, and technical data used to operate, secure, debug, and improve health-related features
ROCX does not collect precise location for health-facility geofencing and does not use consumer health data for third-party advertising.
2. Sources of Consumer Health Data
ROCX may collect consumer health data from:
- You, when you enter, record, import, capture, upload, or share information in the App
- Your device and Apple services, when you grant permission or enable features such as HealthKit, iCloud/CloudKit, camera, photos, microphone, speech recognition, notifications, or App Store purchases
- Service providers that process information for the App at your direction or as needed to operate requested features
3. Purposes of Collection and Use
ROCX may collect and use consumer health data to:
- Provide workout logging, routine management, progress tracking, voice input, import, export, sharing, insights, and related App features
- Sync, back up, restore, and display your App data when you enable supported services
- Process purchases, subscriptions, entitlements, support requests, and privacy requests
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, debug issues, measure feature quality, and operate the App
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms
4. Categories Shared and Recipients
ROCX may disclose consumer health data only as needed for the purposes above:
- Apple: HealthKit, iCloud/CloudKit, App Store purchases, device permissions, crash diagnostics, and platform services
- Cloudflare: API relay, App Attest verification, rate limiting, request processing, security, and usage management
- OpenAI and similar processing providers: transcription-related analysis, training record interpretation, insight generation, image or screenshot import assistance, calorie estimation, and similar features that you use
- YouTube/Google APIs: exercise video search that you request
- Analytics, diagnostics, billing, and support providers: feature usage, technical status, error state, entitlement state, and support information
ROCX does not sell consumer health data. ROCX does not share consumer health data with data brokers or third-party advertising networks.
5. Consumer Health Data Rights
Where applicable law gives you these rights, you may request to:
- Confirm whether ROCX processes your consumer health data
- Access your consumer health data
- Delete your consumer health data
- Withdraw consent for collection or sharing of consumer health data
- Appeal a refusal of a consumer health data request
You can also delete optional records in the App and change device permissions in iOS settings.
6. How to Make a Request
To make a consumer health data request, email [email protected]. Please describe your request and include enough information for us to verify and respond to it. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
7. Changes
We may update this Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. If we make material changes, we will provide notice in the App or on https://rocxapp.com/.
